Elevator Helper / Apprentice Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Elevator Helper to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in the elevator industry. No elevator experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
The successful applicant will have a strong desire to learn a skilled trade and pursue an apprenticeship path that can lead to becoming a Licensed Elevator Constructor. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, takes initiative, and is committed to professional growth and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
- Assist elevator mechanics and constructors with installation, modernization, maintenance, and repair work.
- Learn industry standards, safety procedures, and technical skills required in the elevator trade.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform physical tasks and work with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Travel periodically to job sites throughout Alberta as required.
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn a new trade and pursue an apprenticeship program.
- Interest in developing a long-term career in the elevator industry.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel periodically within Alberta.
- Mechanical aptitude is required; previous experience in construction, mechanical, electrical, automotive, welding, millwright, or related trades is considered an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
