Position Overview
Bigfoot Building Products Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Interior Door Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will operate a Norfield door machine to accurately route hinge pockets and handle holes on interior doors to meet quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment. While experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate a Norfield door machine to route hinge locations and handle/lockset holes
· Ensure consistent quality and accuracy in all machining work
· Inspect finished doors to meet company standards
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
· Assist with general production tasks as needed
Qualifications
· Experience operating door machinery or similar equipment is an asset, but not required
· Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Good work ethic and reliability
· Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical work
