The Opportunity
We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Specialist who thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment.
You will be the first impression of our hospital — steady, organized, and confident under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients warmly and professionally
- Manage multi-line phones and email communication
- Schedule, confirm, and optimize appointments
- Process invoices and payments accurately
- Maintain detailed and accurate client/patient records
- Support clients through emotional situations with empathy and composure
- Coordinate workflow between reception, exam rooms, and treatment areas
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and shared clinic spaces.
Required Qualifications

- Is organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.

- Is comfortable using computers and scheduling software.
- Is comfortable working in a veterinary environment, including occasional euthanasias.
- Can lift 20–25 lbs occasionally (e.g., food bags, small supplies).
Preferred Qualifications
- Veterinary, medical, or dental clinic reception experience
- Familiarity with some professional software system
- Understanding of veterinary terminology
- Experience with insurance, estimates, or medical billing
