Position: Behaviour Interventionist (BI)
Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Location: Saskatoon, SK
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Behaviour Interventionist to join our team. The BI will work directly with children and youth with developmental and behavioural needs, implementing individualized behaviour plans designed by a Behaviour Therapist.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 behaviour support in home, school, or community settings
- Implement individualized plans
- Teach communication, social, play, academic, and life skills
- Collect and record data during sessions accurately and consistently
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
- Communicate effectively with families and supervisors
- Maintain a professional, positive, and client-centred approach
Qualifications
- Experience working with neurodivergent children and teenagers
- Background in psychology, education, child development, or related field (asset)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow structured programs and take direction
- Comfortable working in various environments (home, school, community)
- Must pass a criminal record check
- Valid CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
