Overview: Reign Medispa, an upscale spa and wellness destination, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Spa Promoter/Reception/Masseuse. This multifaceted role involves spa promotion, reception responsibilities, expertise in massage therapy, daily spa duties, and training on esthetic equipment. Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or both is a requirement to cater to our diverse clientele. Candidates with experience in Thai massage or stretching massage will be considered assets. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and some evening shifts, as we may extend our operating hours until 9 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Spa Promotion and Reception:
- Engage with clients in a warm and professional manner.
- Promote spa services, packages, and special promotions.
- Manage spa bookings, ensuring accurate scheduling and efficient coordination of appointments.
- Esthetic Equipment Training:
- Participate in comprehensive training sessions on the spa's esthetic equipment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating and explaining equipment to clients.
- Massage Therapy:
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to the specific needs of clients, with expertise in Thai massage, Lymphatic or stretching massage being an asset.
- Create a serene and therapeutic environment for an exceptional spa experience.
- Daily Spa Duties:
- Contribute to the smooth operation of daily spa activities, including maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with the spa team to ensure a seamless workflow and excellent customer service.
- Working Hours:
- Flexibility to work weekends and some evening shifts, potentially until 9 p.m., to accommodate the spa's extended hours.
- Language Requirements:
- Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, or both, to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in spa promotion, reception, and massage therapy.
- Certification in massage therapy and esthetics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese, or both.
- Familiarity with spa operations and esthetic equipment.
- Experience in Thai massage or stretching massage considered an asset.
