Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be adept at working in various environments, including industrial settings. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, including logic controllers and low voltage applications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safety practices associated with electrical work.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and logic controllers is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.
- A valid electrician's license or certification is required.
