Position: Sheet Metal Worker / Metal Fabricator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay- 18-19$
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: Malton, Mississauga, ON (near Airport Road)
Work Environment: Industrial / Manufacturing Environment
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in an industrial work environment in the Malton area. The successful candidate must have previous experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting and be comfortable using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and fabricate sheet metal components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other metalworking equipment.
- Perform grinding, deburring, finishing, and preparation of metal parts.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties related to sheet metal fabrication as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Metal Fabricator.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience working in an industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience using grinders and other metalworking tools.
- Good understanding of measurements and basic fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read basic shop drawings is an asset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand, lift, bend, and work for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be reliable and able to work Monday to Friday, full-time.
