Salon Assistant
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Salon Assistant to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves dogs, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a busy salon environment. You’ll help keep the salon running smoothly while supporting our groomers and making sure both pets and their owners have a great experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the grooming industry and wanting hands-on experience in a fun, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greeting clients and helping with check-ins and check-outs
- Answering phones, booking appointments, and responding to emails
- Keeping the salon clean, organized, and sanitized
- Helping groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, and handling dogs
- Assisting with laundry, cleaning kennels, and restocking supplies
- Helping customers find products and recommending retail items when appropriate
- Supporting the team wherever needed to help the day run smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, positive, and dependable
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Team player with a good attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous salon, customer service, or animal experience is a bonus, but not required
- Dog nail trimming experience is a big asset

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
