Perform advanced PCB repair, rework, and reballing activities on complex electronic assemblies
Execute and support repair processes involving tools, nozzles, high thermal components, and fine-pitch assemblies
Develop, document, and improve repair and rework procedures for the production environment
Train and support operators on repair techniques, workmanship standards, and best practices
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of assembly and repair defects
Maintain high workmanship standards in accordance with IPC requirements
Assist with process improvements related to repair and rework operations
Support hand soldering and specialized soldering applications where required
Work collaboratively with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to improve repair capability and consistency
Strong hands-on electronics repair and rework experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with advanced PCB repair, component replacement, reballing, and high thermal rework
IPC certification experience, ideally including IPC-7711/7721
Experience developing repair documentation, work instructions, and operator training materials
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to operators and technicians
Experience with hand soldering techniques is considered an asset
Experience with hot bar soldering is considered a strong asset
SMT manufacturing experience is beneficial, but deep SMT/process engineering experience is not required
Diploma in Electronics Technology, Electronics Engineering Technician/Technologist, or equivalent experience
5+ years of electronics manufacturing, repair, or rework experience
Experience in ISO 9001 or similar manufacturing environments is preferred
