Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Day Shift: Monday to Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Inventory team to achieve daily, monthly, and annual operational goals while fostering a positive, respectful, and safe workplace culture.
- Coordinate and maintain inventory operations to support production schedules and ensure materials are available when and where they are needed.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, location management, and investigation of inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory trends and usage patterns to optimize stock levels, replenishment processes, and inventory control practices.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality teams to resolve supply, inventory, and product-related issues.
- Track critical inventory and purchased components, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and movement of materials throughout the facility.
- Review orders, drawings, and production requirements to support accurate material allocation and uninterrupted workflow.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the enhancement of inventory management systems, processes, and reporting.
- Support inventory-related training and best practices across departments, promoting accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing inventory control
- Proven ability to work effectively with people
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints and data sheets
- Intermediate math skills
- An established excellent attendance & safety record
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload of the team to accomplish goals
- Ability to lead and operate with a continuous sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to solve problems effectively and in a timely manner, by identifying the root cause
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
