Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments, while delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, build client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. The Nail Technician will also assist with retail sales and promote additional services such as body waxing to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.

Duties
- Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure client safety and hygiene standards.
- Provide body waxing services as requested by clients, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or retail products.
- Upsell additional services and retail items to maximize client satisfaction and salon profitability.
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Educate clients on nail care maintenance and aftercare tips for long-lasting results.
Qualifications
- Valid state license or certification as a Nail Technician.
- Experience with various nail techniques including gel, acrylics, and nail art is preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform body waxing services with professionalism and attention to detail (nice-to-have).
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining client trust.
