We are a civil construction firm that is growing and currently recruiting for an experienced water and sewer Foreman to join our company with the following skills.
Must be knowledgeable in areas of underground water and sewer construction. This is a fulltime, year round position.
Required Skills:
- Have a minimum 5 years of experience in organizing and taking care of all aspects surrounding water sewer excavations
- Operate 200 and 300 series excavators
- Understand and interpret layout stakes to complete accurate excavations
- Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints and coordinating layouts with superintendent
- Operate safely and complete excavations in accordance with OH&S regulations
- Complete field documentation as required
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and diagnose mechanical problems
- Line up service connection locations, catch basins, and man holes.
- Understand elevations and grading
- Strong communications and able to work with others.
- Dedicated and committed to production and safety.
Should have the following:
- Valid Driver’s License
- CSTS Certification (mandatory)
- First aid
- Ground Disturbance
- Confined space entry & monitor
In this role you will report directly to the Site superintendent/ Operations manager and work collaboratively with the project team to efficiently execute the assigned project within an approved budget and within timelines that exceed our customers’ needs and expectation.
