Job Description:
$28-$33/hour - Expensed travel costs - 3 month contract in Cambridge, ON
We are seeking a highly motivated Installation Technician to support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup of large-scale robotic packaging systems at customer facilities throughout the United States. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting skills who enjoys travel and working directly with customers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Installation Technician will be responsible for ensuring robotic packaging equipment is installed correctly, operating to specifications, and fully functional before project handover. This position requires extensive travel to customer sites and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with engineering, project management, and customer teams.
Requirements:
- Must have hands on experience in both mechanical and electrical assembly
- Must have experience troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues independently
- Must be able to read and follow schematics and instructions
- Must be comfortable speaking the English language
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude
- Must be eligible to travel across the United States
Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
