Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. This role involves providing essential clerical and administrative support, ensuring smooth daily functions, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and potentially answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, iFirm, Doc.it Suite
- Assist with filing, document proofreading, and organizing office supplies
- Support bookkeeping and basic financial tasks related to billing and invoicing
- Provide customer support through phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring excellent phone etiquette
- Handle appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- Proven clerical or administrative experience, ideally within an accounting office
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Sharepoint
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and proofreading
- Effective communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and customer service experience
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Prior experience with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, filing, and general office support is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training or certification is a plus
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
