Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Subway standards and customer preferences
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections
- Operate the POS system, order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food prep areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food safely and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure the restaurant remains organized and inviting
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in cashiering or serving is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities
