Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting the overall progress of building sites. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, or bulldozers (training provided)
- Perform paving tasks under supervision, including laying asphalt or concrete surfaces
- Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials as directed by supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus; training will be provided for those interested
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are required
- Ability to work well within a team environment and follow instructions carefully
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to adhere to safety standards at all times
Pay: $18.25-$32.00 per hour
