Uplifting Your Career at Ornge
At Ornge, technology is critical to delivering life-saving services across Ontario. We are seeking our first Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect, a newly created and highly influential role that will help shape the future of our enterprise technology landscape.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong architect who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on solution design and technology evaluation. You will work at the intersection of business needs, enterprise strategy, infrastructure, and architecture – partnering with stakeholders across the organization to design technology solutions that are innovative, secure, scalable, and aligned with long term organizational goals. The successful candidate will be expected to actively evaluate technologies, conduct proof of concepts, validate designs, troubleshoot complex technical challenges and work closely with delivery teams throughout implementation.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will engage directly with vendors, technology partners, and internal stakeholders to evaluate emerging solutions, guide architectural decisions, and influence the future direction of our technology environment. You will play a key role in advancing Ornge's architecture and security maturity, participate in architecture and technical design reviews, and provide expert guidance on technology standards, governance, and best practices.
Beyond solution design, you will be a technical leader and mentor, helping to develop organizational capability by coaching team members, sharing knowledge, and providing practical architectural guidance. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently move between strategic planning and technical execution, bringing both enterprise vision and hands-on expertise to every initiative.
