Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment plans to ensure optimal results.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records of treatments provided.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments if necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of massage areas and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Schedule appointments efficiently while providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license as required by state regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and address client questions or concerns.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a welcoming demeanor at all times.
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients.
Pay: $66.00-$82.50 per hour
