About the role
We are a growing mobile heavy equipment repair business operating throughout Ontario. Our work spans heavy trucks, light vehicles, road paving machinery, and general construction equipment — if it has an engine or hydraulics, we work on it.
We're a small operation and that's intentional. You won't have a manager looking over your shoulder. What you will have is real variety, ownership of your work, and the satisfaction of being trusted to get the job done right.
What the job actually looks like
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment — heavy trucks, road paving machinery, cars, and other mechanical equipment
- Work independently in a shop or field setting — identify what needs doing and get on with it
- Perform quality diagnostics without being told where to start
- Manage your own work order from problem to completion
- Communicate clearly with the owner when needed — in English, written and verbal
Who we're looking for
This role is not for someone who needs direction or supervision. If you walk into a shop and can identify what's next and start working, you'll fit in here. If you need to be told what to do each morning, this is not the right position.
- 310T licence (strongly preferred) or 421A — Red Seal an asset
- Proven experience across multiple equipment types
- Strong diagnostic ability — electrical, hydraulic, mechanical
- Excellent English communication — spoken and written
- Self-governing, accountable, and reliable
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
