Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records to inform individualized learning plans.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's unique needs and development goals.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing necessary accommodations.
- Maintain organized classroom materials and supplies to ensure an efficient learning environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills such as French are a strong asset.
- Experience working with children across various age groups in educational or childcare settings.
- Knowledge of special education principles and experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Leadership qualities to guide children’s activities and support team collaboration.
- Computer literacy including basic computer operation for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Classroom experience demonstrating the ability to create engaging learning environments.
- Writing skills for documenting observations, progress reports, and planning documentation.

Pay: $25.60-$30.00 per hour
