Duties and Responsibilities:
The Shipper and Receiver (Forklift Operator) is responsible for:
- Performing daily inspections of lift trucks and completion of required forms
- Reporting concerns and ensureing lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met
- Loading and unloading goods in a safe and efficient manner, organizing and storing in designated areas
- Maintaining contact with supervisor(s) and working to resolve issues as they arise
- Following all regulations, company policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills:
- Forklift operation experience, license an asset
- Minimum one year of experience
- Effective communication skills and ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Basic hand tool skills
- Must be highly organized
- Must be able to work in cold conditions
Physical requirements include: Ability to stack and lift up to 30 lbs. Sitting and driving for long periods of time, pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements.
We do not use AI during the screening and hiring process.
Pay: $20.00-$20.50 per hour
