JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently accepting resumes an experienced Class 1 Linehaul Driver, who must have offroad experience and reside in the area for our Smithers, BC operations.

Job Summary:
The successful applicant will be expected to perform the following:
- Operate Class 1 vehicles on both highway and off-road routes
- Haul different types of trailers (van, deck, b-train, lowbed, etc.)
- Overnight trips will be required for this position
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documents
- Ensure all load securement safety regulations and standards are followed
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
In order to be qualified, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Valid Class 1 license
- Experience in off-road driving, including remote or unpaved conditions.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Driver's abstract must show no driving-related criminal code convictions in the prior 36 months; no more than 2 moving violations in the prior 12 months; and no more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36 months. The date of conviction and the current date will be the date used to determine time periods
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficient in English (both reading and writing)
- A background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process
