We are seeking a motivated and reliable Industrial Cleaning Labourer / Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting with Industrial HVAC cleaning, commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning, industrial specialized cleaning, and high dusting operations at commercial and industrial facilities. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to maintain safe, clean, and compliant environments for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of industrial HVAC systems, ductwork, and ventilation components.
- Perform commercial kitchen exhaust system cleaning in accordance with industry standards.
- Complete specialized industrial cleaning tasks in manufacturing, processing, and commercial facilities.
- Conduct high dusting and overhead cleaning using approved equipment and procedures.
- Operate and assist with elevated work platforms (EWPs) and fall protection systems.
- Set up and maintain work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Follow site-specific safety requirements and company procedures.
- Use cleaning equipment, vacuums, pressure washing equipment, and specialized cleaning tools.
- Complete required documentation and safety inspections.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess valid certifications for:
- CSTS (Construction Safety Training System)
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
- WHMIS
- Fall Protection
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, HVAC cleaning, kitchen exhaust cleaning, or related trades.
- Experience working at heights and in industrial environments.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass site access requirements and drug/alcohol testing where required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and from elevated work platforms.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, dusty environments, and varying weather conditions.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and performing physically demanding work for extended periods.
- Must pass Drug and Alcohol test
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
