Led by Chefs Kiran and Karma, named Victoria's 2025 Chefs of the Year, Cafe Malabar has proudly been recognized as YAM Magazine's Best Southeast Asian Restaurant in Victoria for three consecutive years (2024–2026) and was named one of Air Canada's Top 10 Best New Restaurants in Canada in 2024.
We're looking for a year-round Server who is passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and excited to grow alongside our team.
Previous serving experience is important, but we're equally looking for someone who is curious, coachable, and committed to continually improving their craft. If you're looking to build a long-term career in hospitality, we'd love to meet you.
What We're Looking For
- Experience serving in a full-service restaurant
- A genuine passion for hospitality
- Curious, coachable, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in food, wine, cocktails, and storytelling
- Valid Serving It Right certification
Schedule
- Year-round position
- Approximately 3 to 5 shifts per week
- Wednesday through Sunday
- Daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday availability
