Inside Sales Representative to support Branch sales growth for a leading industrial supply organization. This role is ideal for a customer-focused and sales-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing sales activities with operational responsibilities.
The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service while selling industrial gases, welding supplies, and related products. This position supports daily Branch operations and contributes directly to sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Manage customer interactions via walk-in, phone, and email inquiries
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide product recommendations and identify upselling opportunities
- Build strong, long-term relationships to support customer retention
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
- Support achievement of Branch sales targets
- Handle invoicing, cash, and credit transactions
- Maintain accurate inventory and support cycle counts
- Manage cylinder tracking and control processes
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and stock transfers
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to support customer accounts
- Provide product knowledge and technical guidance to customers
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in customer service or inside sales

Experience in industrial supply, welding, or gas distribution is an asset

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Sales-oriented mindset with upselling ability

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Experience with inventory systems or ERP software preferred

Mechanical aptitude or product knowledge in welding/industrial gases is a strong asset
