Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex commercial disputes, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients in litigation proceedings. Duties
- Manage and oversee all phases of commercial litigation cases, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategies and legal arguments.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
- Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, evidence, and applicable laws to advocate effectively for clients.
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution options to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration hearings with professionalism and confidence.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide clear guidance on litigation risks and opportunities.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting commercial litigation.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Over 3 years experience in commercial litigation or related legal practice areas.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis or similar legal research platforms.
- Excellent negotiation abilities to facilitate favorable settlements.
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear, persuasive legal documents.
- Solid understanding of legal drafting standards and procedures.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues critically and develop effective strategies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate arguments clearly both orally and in writing.

Pay: $200.00-$250.00 per hour
