Sovereign Dental Kids is seeking a caring, energetic, and enthusiastic Level II Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing pediatric dental team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist pediatric dentists during examinations and pediatric dental procedures.
- Provide efficient chairside support while maintaining a safe, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after procedures.
- Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with prescribed protocols.
- Comfort and support pediatric patients, helping to reduce anxiety and create a positive dental experience.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records using Open Dental software.
- Assist with appointment flow to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.
- Adhere to all infection prevention and control (IPAC), sterilization, and health and safety standards.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Level II Dental Assistant Certification (required)
- Current HARP Certification (required)
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred; pediatric experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with Open Dental software is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Professional, organized, and committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
