Overview
We are seeking a motivated and computer savvy nurse who is personable and comfortable administering shots.
The role is essenial in delivering high quality care and support to our allergy patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer subcutaneous immunotherapy injections and oral challenges
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and safety protocols
- Conduct allergy testing
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess their condition regularly
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems such as Accuro
- Verify patient demographics to ensure accurate records
- Provide education and support to patients regarding allergy
- Book and cancel appointments in the electronic medical records(EMR) system
- Scan and fike incoming documents accurately
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license
- Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Accuro is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and clinical procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable with administering injections and performing allergy tests
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
