Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Worker to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety within various facilities through custodial and cleaning responsibilities. Duties
- Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across designated areas
- Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and fixtures regularly
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in compliance with environmental policies
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and walking throughout large facilities

Pay: $16.75-$17.75 per hour
