Where You’ll Build Solutions that Matter
As a Project & Business Analyst with our IT Delivery team, you’ll coordinate the implementation of effective digital solutions that keep the City running. From enterprise systems to new community-facing services, your work will directly support employees and residents across Thunder Bay.

How You’ll Help Shape Digital Services
As a Project & Business Analyst, you’ll guide project change management activities that advance the Corporate Digital Strategy. In this role, you will:
- Organize, coordinate, lead and implement project activities under the direction of the Manager - IT Delivery and business and functional direction of Project Lead(s).

Deliver project activities including defining key stakeholders, identifying and managing project risks and issues, building project workplans and schedules with business partners and documenting regular follow-ups to ensure actions are completed on time.

Participate in the implementation of project activities including the creation of end-user documentation for new/changed processes.

Ensure project schedules, resources, budget and details are well organized.

Organize and prepare documents, plan meetings and provide updates to the Project Lead(s) and the Manager - IT Delivery.

Lead and conduct project meetings with key stakeholders, project team members, including CIT and subject matter experts.

Conduct detailed project research and analysis and make recommendations to support project goals.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
Here’s what will help you succeed as a Project & Business Analyst:

Degree in computer science, business administration majoring in information systems, application development, IT infrastructure and networking technologies, or related field, together with a minimum of two years’ related experience with application development, infrastructure support or data center technologies; or

Diploma relating to computer systems/business application development or IT technology, together with a minimum of four years’ related experience with application development, enterprise system software or data center technologies.
