Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals are looking for a Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications and quality standards.
NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES TRAVELLING ACROSS SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN (SWIFT CURRENT, MOOSE JAW, WEYBURN, YORKTON, ETC)
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project start-up activities, including site preparation, permits, equipment, documentation, scheduling, and safety planning.
- Manage daily site operations and coordinate employees, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Conduct daily site inspections and regular meetings with site personnel and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and proactively address scheduling or construction issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, daily site reports, progress updates, and inspection records.
- Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, hazard assessments, PPE requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor project costs, change orders, budget variances, and overall project performance.
- Ensure subcontractors complete work according to required schedules, specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe construction site.
- Lead and support site employees while promoting teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
- Coordinate project close-out activities, including inspections, deficiencies, permits, as-built drawings, and required documentation.
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients, consultants, subcontractors, employees, and other project stakeholders.
Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
