Title: Director, Client Experience
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Work Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week in office
Salary Range: $100-110k annually

Role Overview
The Director, Client Experience is a senior-level client counselor; leads and manages strategic programs; manages multiple accounts; provides day-to-day advice and direction to clients; builds and manages revenue across a portfolio of clients; and manages, coaches and empowers direct and indirect reports. This role requires someone with the ability to operationally manage the work and the resources – resource planning, project management planning, process planning, and management for large multi-faceted campaigns.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee large and complex accounts where experiential marketing is a key strategy
- Understand client’s business and competitive landscape
- Lead account teams e.g. work allocation and delegation, determining roles and responsibilities, coaching and supporting talent development
- Work with teams to develop over-arching on-strategy account plans
- Develop and implement creative activation strategies by working with client and partners
- Develop measurement frameworks and generate results, and the analysis of how best to move forward
- Ensure client programs are on-budget and delivering quality service
- Manage P&L of a client portfolio and reaching revenue targets
- Have a strong understanding of your portfolio’s financials inclusing revenue and projected revenue and report monthly into Sr. Management
- Oversee timely and detailed invoicing / overall account monitoring
- Advise clients on strategic positioning and program development
- Actively mentor team members on various activities – provide regular feedback
- Identify and secure new and organic business opportunities and achieve targets
- Maintain and nurture client relationships, proactively looking ahead to “what’s next”
- Participate in company management meetings and discussions to review challenges and opportunities for further success.
- Work collaboratively with senior team to develop and implement strategies that broaden the impact of the company, build revenue, fuel the attraction and retention of clients, and ensure effective staff management, education and communication

What you’ve done:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Proven 6+ years relevant industry or agency experience
- Solid understanding of “big picture” client, partner & agency needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Flexibility to travel and work weekends or evenings as needed to support event execution
