K-Bro Linen Systems is Canada’s Leader in Commercial Laundry Services, and we continue to grow. Our Mississauga facility at 6045 Freemont Blvd is looking for a Maintenance Helper.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Clean site after completing repairs and return tools/parts to the maintenance shop
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions
- Fabricate and weld parts as needed.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist in maintaining accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Support facilities maintenance as required
Education and Experience
- Mechanical or electrical knowledge to include the following:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
- Basic knowledge in industrial environment or technical school
- Minimum 1 year experience.
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Basic computer skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Good physical condition- must be able to lift 50lbs.
Shift
- 5 days per week (1 day either Saturday/ Sunday), 8 hours per day
- Must be available for any shift, including weekends. (must work either Saturday or Sunday) Own transportation
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and hold a valid work permit with a minimum of 2 years’ validity, or permanent resident status.
