We are seeking a passionate and driven Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client and help them continue to grow their amazing workforce. This opportunity is a six (6) month contract and an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a crown corporation. You will be reporting to the Manager – Talent Acquisition and be part of a small but impactful group. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to thrive in the following areas:
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing & Recruitment:
- Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent through various channels (job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals).
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Build strong relationships with candidates, ensuring clear communication and a positive hiring experience.
- Guide candidates through the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and market insights.
- Recruitment Process Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Ensure compliance with legal and company hiring policies and procedures.
- Employer Branding & Networking:
- Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate on employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s market presence.
The ideal candidate will be available immediately for a six-month contract and bring over four years of full-cycle recruitment experience. This includes managing the entire talent acquisition process, from conducting intake meetings with stakeholders to handling offer negotiations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of staffing roles across diverse operational portfolios, including accounting/finance, IT, and business development. Experience in agency recruitment across multiple skillsets and success in managing high-volume hiring mandates is essential. Familiarity with HRIS or ATS systems is required, and a valid security clearance is mandatory. The role demands a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to evolving recruitment needs
