Job Overview
As our Clinic and Operations Manager, you'll be a founding member of our operations team, responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic and helping shape how we hire, schedule, order, and manage the clinic long-term. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building processes, solving problems in real-time, and keeping a busy clinic running smoothly.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR support for clinical and administrative staff
- Build and manage staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage across all clinic functions
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and vendor coordination for medical and office supplies
- Manage general clinic operations, including facilities, vendor relationships, and day-to-day troubleshooting
- Support the development of clinic policies, procedures, and workflows as we build out operations
- Assist with CPSA accreditation, business arrangement setup, and full clinic build-out in line with Alberta regulatory requirements
- Act as a key point of contact for staff and patients on operational matters
- Collaborate with clinic leadership on process improvement and growth planning
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinic management, medical office management, or healthcare operations role
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced evolving environment
- Experience with hiring, scheduling, and inventory management
- Familiarity with EMR systems, medical billing, and insurance processes
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
- Comfort working in a startup-like environment where processes are still being built
