Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our guest rooms and public areas. This position is essential in ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience at our hotel.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors in guest rooms and hallways.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the hotel.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards within a hotel environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Able to work independently or in a team.
- Able to move and walk continuously during work hours.
- Capability to complete repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift 25-30 kg.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
