Our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative merchandising solutions is seeking a skilled and creative SolidWorks Designer to join their Surrey team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on custom-designed units, collaborate directly with clients, and bring your engineering creativity to life while helping drive profitability and customer satisfaction through in-store innovation.

Translate client project scopes into technical drawings, layouts, and design packages using SolidWorks
Maintain documentation control and update drawings to incorporate design changes
Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Coordination, and Operations teams to ensure designs align with manufacturing capabilities
Visit the production floor to review prototypes and ensure quality and feasibility of designs
Contribute to problem-solving by proactively identifying potential issues and proposing innovative solutions
Your experience in SolidWorks design (sheet metal, plastic, or similar materials) will directly impact client satisfaction
Use your engineering mindset and creativity to solve complex design problems
Your ability to communicate with clients and internal teams ensures smooth project delivery
Optional skills in MasterCam, CNC programming, or woodworking/millwork will be highly valued
Adaptability, flexibility, and a positive attitude will help you thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
