Job Description
Strategy and Scope:
- Define and own the testing strategy and align it with chief engineers, programs, and Centers of Competence (CoCs). Act as the accountable party for the technical scoping and planning of all ABIV activities.
Project and Risk Management:
- Deliver on TCQP, identify technical or resource risks, implement mitigation plans, and anticipate Processes, Methods, Data, and Tools (PMDT) needs.
Leadership and Governance:
- Functionally lead New Development IPTs, trigger necessary arbitrations, and maintain a consolidated Statement of Work (SoW) reflecting deliverables, milestones, and financial boundaries. Serve as the primary ABIV focal point for the other functions, including Engineering CoCs, Chief Engineering & Program.
Resource Allocation:
- Map out and provide an integrated view of the necessary resources and competencies in collaboration with department heads.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Engineering degree (or equivalent).
- Significant background managing major flight test campaigns specifically for CS-25 aircraft (Large Aeroplanes), also covering laboratory testing and flight test means development.
- Proven track record in advanced project management.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Soft Skills and Leadership:
- Matrix Leadership: Proven ability to influence, energize, and lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting lines.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to interface with other functions, clarify roles and responsibilities, and accurately report project health.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, synthesis, and creative abilities to drive autonomy and resolve bottlenecks.
