Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs/scans as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide oral health education and personalized care instructions to patients
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and professionalism
- Maintain accurate patient records using GOLD dental management software
- Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient experience
- Address patient questions regarding oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Requirements
- Current registration with CRDHA
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
