Responsibilities
- Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely and efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques
- Install new or replacement glass, ensuring proper fit and seal to prevent leaks or wind noise
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs with precision
- Perform heavy lifting when handling large or heavy glass components
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met during each job
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during glass replacement processes
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding service details
Experience
- Prior experience in automotive repair or mechanic work is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems is beneficial
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair techniques is essential
- Experience with heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments is advantageous
- Previous work as an auto glass technician or similar role is a plus but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in developing their skills
Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
