Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist the dentist during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice. Experience with dental software Dentrix, along with knowledge of general dentisty procedures is highly valued. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns throughout their visit
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with ICP standards
- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care and office operations
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
- Prior experience with Dentrix is an asset
- Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures and infection control standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Works well in a team environment to ensure each day runs efficiently
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
