Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team in ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our whole property. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in hotel maintenance and a focus on safety and efficiency. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to support continuous operations of the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance in guest rooms to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair service requests throughout the hotel
- Perform plumbing, electrical repairs, and mechanical adjustments as needed
- Painting throughout the hotel
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met
- Perform pool maintenance
- Lead or support team efforts in troubleshooting complex issues, demonstrating leadership qualities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel maintenance roles
- Supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities
- Skilled in plumbing, electrical work, mechanical repairs, and general facilities maintenance
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work and collaborate with team members
- Ability to lead maintenance projects while maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
