Cleaning Technician (Casual to Part Time Opportunity)

Omega Cleaning Services is currently hiring a Casual Cleaning Technician, with the opportunity to move into full-time employment based on performance, reliability, and client satisfaction.
Position Type
- Casual to start
- Opportunity for part time or full-time based on performance
- Residential & commercial cleaning
- Morning and afternoon, weekdays and weekends (homes like consistency)
- Cleaning experience is an asset. Must be willing to be trained.
Pay
- Starting at $20/hour
- Pay increases based on:
- performance
- reliability
- years of experience
- Pay schedule:
- Residential homes: bi-weekly
- Commercial jobs: once per month
Transportation & Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation (car preferred)
- Work locations will be within a 30-minute radius of your home
- Must have mobile data for communication and scheduling (whatsapp)
- Must be reliable and consistent — clients expect the same cleaner(s)
Supplies & Insurance
- Must provide your own cleaning supplies and equipment (this is for backup as clients may not have the quality of equipment) Supplies can be bought from the dollar store. Omega’s website provides cleaning products for guidance.
Must be willing to obtain personal insurance in the future at your own expense for your protection (support/guidance can be provided)
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general residential and/or commercial cleaning
- Follow Omega’s general cleaning checklist (provided at: omega2omega.ca)
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism
- Communicate clearly with management regarding schedules and concerns
- Accept feedback and apply it for continuous improvement
- Arrive on time or 5 minutes before shift starts to respect clients time
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable walking up and down stairs
- Able to lift and carry items such as vacuums and mop/bucket
- Comfortable working in homes with pets
- Clients will sometimes be in the home but will be in different rooms or floors while cleaning.
Qualifications
- Cleaning experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Willing to work independently and as part of a team
- Open to feedback and committed to improvement
