Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Keyholder/Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, inventory control, and maintaining store standards while fostering a positive shopping environment.
Duties
- Store Operations: Open and close the store, including disarming and arming the alarm system, unlocking and locking doors, and ensuring cash registers are ready for the next business day.
- Security and Safety: Monitor security protocols, respond to alarms or emergencies, and ensure the safety of staff and customers.
- Supervision: Act as the manager-on-duty in the absence of higher management, overseeing staff, training new employees, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Inventory Management: Assist with restocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and managing merchandise inventory.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Retail Experience: Previous experience in retail or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate the team.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain store presentation standards and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
Requirements
The Ideal candidate must posess a valid Canadian work permit and is eligible to work in Canada.
