Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Safe and responsible operation of industrial food production equipment
-
Accurately portioning ingredients in batches according to recipes, policies and procedures.

Work with other team members to complete production and packaging
-
Lifting up to 50lbs regularly, including boxes of ingredients, equipment parts, and pails.

Other various tasks in both production and packaging depending on daily needs.

Effectively communicating with all team members.
-
Ensuring all paperwork for the assigned daily tasks is correct and complete.

Safely using WHIMIS controlled substances by wearing all required PPE and following all safety policies and procedures determined by the OHSA and by our Health and Safety Program.

Ensuring the storage of ingredients and products is organized, efficient, and safe.

Responsible for maintaining and cleaning areas according to company policies, HACCP, GMP's and SOP's.
Experience:
-
Experience in industrial food production is preferred
-
An attention to detail is essential

Highly organized and excellent time management skills

Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Effective communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience working in a food-manufacturing environment is an asset

A strong work ethic with a desire to learn and grow within the company
