Job Summary We are looking for a high-energy, action-oriented Assistant Rental Coordinator. In this role, you will be the Branch Manager’s right hand, taking daily directives and executing them efficiently to keep the branch moving forward. This role is the backbone of our inventory tracking and system accuracy. You will be responsible for meticulously managing our in-house systems, maintaining the yard report, and ensuring every single vehicle key is exactly where it needs to be. Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Oversight: Personally manage and execute the vehicle check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate damage reports, fuel levels, and mileage tracking.
- Managerial Support: Act as the primary execution point for the Branch Manager, taking over daily tasks, paperwork, and projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and on time.
- Fleet Metrics: Assist the Branch Manager in tracking fleet metrics, registrations, and maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime, and keep our customers on the road
- System & Fleet Tracking: Maintain and update our in-house computer system with real-time vehicle statuses.
- Shop Liaison: Deliver organized paperwork, keys, and instructions directly to the shop team to ensure vehicles are prepped and ready for the next rental.
- Organization: Safely manage key placement for incoming and outgoing units, and adapt quickly to shifting daily priorities.
- Fleet Coordinator: Communicate with vendors to book service work for our fleet. Work with our shop team for in house repair timelines. Regularity communicate with vendors for daily progress updates and manage service timelines.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you will be interacting with drivers, shop staff, and management daily.
- A proactive, "get-it-done" attitude, with the ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working both in an office setting and outdoors in the yard as needed. Please note: This is strictly an on-site, in-office position with no remote work / work-from-home options available.
- Previous experience in a rental, automotive, or industrial setting is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a bustling yard and office environment.
- Reliable transportation to our Nisku location.
- Strong computer literacy with experience using in-house databases or fleet management software.
- Attention to detail and knack for spotting data errors.
Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
