Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Mechanic and Inventory Control worker to join our our leading international producers of building chemical products and technologies team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. The Industrial Mechanic will work closely with other technical staff to uphold safety standards and improve system efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic system, power tools, pneumatic system, and other industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues..
- Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes.
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as forklifts, jacks.
- Set-up and repair machinery.
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Clean and lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
- Install, align, dismantle stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and inspections.
- Follow safety protocols related to industrial maintenance, including working with high-voltage systems when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels as materials, equipment and stock are issued.
- Compile inventory reports, type and value of materials, equipment and stock on hand, using manual or computerized inventory sustems.
- maintain stock rotation and enter data for construction scheduling, stock replenishment and inventory adjustments.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on analysis and resolution of technical issues.
- Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
