IS2 is hiring for a Calgary based bus company which specializes in providing safe school transportation for students with disabilities.
Job Duties:
- Safely transport students with disabilities to and from school
- Build relationships with both the students, parents and School staff
- Create a calm, safe, and supportive environment on your bus
- Complete daily vehicle pre-trip inspections
- Follow established routes and schedules
- Use GPS and communication technology
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle, including regular washing, fueling, and delivering the vehicle for scheduled maintenance and repairs
Requirements
- At least 6-years of winter driving experience
- Monday to Friday both AM and PM availability (6:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 4:30pm)
- Responsible for finding a secure parking space for the small school bus at or near your home
- Hold a valid Class 5 (non-GDL) Alberta driver’s licence or higher
- Clear driver's abstract and criminal record check, completion of drug testing
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
