KL RUBBER - NOW HIRINGWarehouse & Order Fulfillment Associate
Mississauga, Ontario | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Starting at $20.00/hour
We are not simply looking for someone to fill a position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly.
At KL Rubber, every order represents our company. Each product must be correct, every shipment must be complete, and every document must be handled properly. A small mistake can cause a customer delay, additional shipping costs, lost time, and extra work for the entire team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on warehouse position with direct responsibility for order accuracy, warehouse organization, forklift operation, loading and unloading, and customer pickup preparation. The successful candidate must be dependable, physically capable, highly organized, and able to remain accurate when work becomes busy or urgent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick, verify, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Confirm product descriptions, item codes, quantities, labels, and shipping documents before release.
- Operate a forklift safely and confidently to move materials and load or unload trucks.
- Receive incoming goods and place inventory in the correct warehouse location.
- Keep aisles, shelves, work areas, and storage locations clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist customers, couriers, and truck drivers with scheduled pickups and deliveries.
- Complete required paperwork, signatures, and shipment records without missing steps.
- Support inventory counts and report shortages, damage, or discrepancies promptly.
- Respond to urgent orders and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and safety.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - THESE STANDARDS ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE
Exceptional attention to detail: You must carefully check products, quantities, item numbers, labels, and paperwork. Picking or releasing the wrong product can create significant costs and customer-service problems.
Strong organization and housekeeping habits: You must return items to the correct location and maintain an orderly warehouse. The role requires someone who notices disorder and corrects it without waiting to be asked.
Excellent punctuality and dependability: You must arrive on time and be ready to work at the scheduled start time. Late arrival can delay customer pickups, truck loading, and the work of other team members.
Confident and skilled forklift operation: You must have practical forklift experience and be able to maneuver, lift, position, and load products into trucks safely and efficiently. Candidates may be asked to demonstrate their forklift skills during the hiring process.
Ability to lift up to 60 lb (approximately 20-50 Lb): The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and handling warehouse products throughout the workday.
Ability to perform under pressure: At times, several trucks or customers may arrive together, or an urgent order may need immediate attention. You must stay calm, prioritize correctly, and work quickly without sacrificing accuracy or safety.
Reliable memory and consistent follow-through: You must remember and complete every required step, including checking orders, obtaining signatures, releasing all products, and completing documents.
Checklists must be used whenever required.
Good English reading ability: You must be able to read and understand product names, item codes, packing slips, labels, shipping instructions, safety information, and other workplace documents in English. Strong reading comprehension is essential to prevent errors.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, order-picking, or material-handling experience is strongly preferred.
- A safety-conscious attitude and respect for warehouse procedures are required.
- Ability to work independently and cooperate with a small team.
- Comfort using simple checklists, order documents, and inventory records.
- Honesty, accountability, and willingness to report and correct mistakes immediately.
- Long-term interest in a stable, full-time position.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Stable, full-time weekday employment.
- Starting wage of $20.00 per hour; a higher starting rate may be considered for candidates with strong, directly relevant experience.
- Structured training on KL Rubber products and warehouse procedures.
- A respectful, practical, team-oriented workplace.
- An opportunity to become a trusted and important member of a long-established Canadian company.
THIS POSITION MAY NOT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

- You are uncomfortable maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- You cannot operate a forklift confidently and safely.
- You regularly forget instructions, paperwork, signatures, or required steps.
- You have difficulty reading workplace documents in English.
- You are looking only for short-term work.
OUR HIRING COMMITMENT
We believe skills can be strengthened through training, but responsibility, discipline, attention to detail, and pride in one's work must begin with the individual. KL Rubber will provide clear instruction, practical support, and a respectful workplace. In return, we expect consistent attendance, safe work, careful execution, and a genuine commitment to doing the job correctly every day.
If these standards describe the way you work, we would be pleased to hear from you.
Please submit your resume and include a brief summary of your forklift and warehouse experience.
