Description of responsibilities
- Operate and conduct machining of parts on lathes and CNC machining centres;
- Produce complex parts in single or small batches;
- Interpret drawings, perform calculations, and verify parts produced;
- Ensure the quality of production by respecting quality and deadlines;
- Ensure that machinery is functioning properly and that the work area is clean.
Required competencies
- Possess a DVS in machining;
- AVS in numerical control would be an asset;
- Attention to detail and meticulousness;
- Organizational skills, self-sufficiency;
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Working conditions
- 40 hours/week
- Day or evening shift (evening premium of $2/hour)
